January is upon us and that means winter is in full swing here in Big Sky Country. With chilling temperatures dipping far into the negative double digits, a gal has to be prepared with a few things; lots of cozy blankets, some intense snow gear, and the perfect cup of hot chocolate. Now, I’m not just talking about your run-of-the-mill cup… We’re pulling out the big guns with some serious premium gourmet hot cocoa here people! And that only means the deliciousness of today’s Friday Favorite: Stephen’s Hot Cocoa. *cue the day dreamy sigh* Anyone who holds cocoa at the top of their winter must-haves list knows that Stephen’s is a cupboard staple.
SO MANY FLAVORS
Stephen’s has one of the widest varieties of hot cocoa I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty much impossible to have a #1 favorite! They have a whopping 21 flavors and that’s not including their ciders and wassail mixes! Their delicious flavors come in a few different categories too. So, if you’re a buy-in-bulk cocoa can girl like myself, a single serve packet kinda gal, or even a fancy Keurig cocoa brewer – Stephen’s has you covered. You can check out their full list and shop HERE. (P.S. this is NOT an affiliate link.)
A FUN FAMILY FAVORITE
One of our favorite ways to mix up a good mug of cocoa is to make up our own version of the Ultimate Unicorn Hot Chocolate. We like to start with a small mug of either Cookies ‘n’ Creme or White Chocolate cocoa mixed with a little blue, green, purple or pink food coloring. (Really any color will do- those are just our girls’ go-tos.) Then the sky is the limit! We’ve added everything from whipped cream and marshmallows to all sorts of sprinkles and candies. You can’t go wrong with anything your littles can come up with. Get creative and have fun!
