Chocolate Cinnamon Protein Bites
These protein bites are delicious, packed with goodness, kid-tested and mommy approved! A family favorite all year ’round.

  • 1/4cup Honey
  • 2 cups old fashioned oatsYou can also use quick oats
  • 1cup your favorite nut butterFor this particular version, we use Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Chia Seed Almond Butter, but peanut butter works wonderfully as well.
  • 1tsp. vanilla
  • 1scoop protein powder (cookies n’ cream)We love the MyProtein brand powder. There are so many yummy flavors and the quality is great! Keep in mind the flavor you choose because it will impact the flavor of your bites. We used cookies n’ cream this time, but vanilla, chocolate, or similarly flavored powders will also be delicious.
  • 1 tbsp. *powdered flax seednot necessary, but is a great source of dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids
  1. Gather all your ingredients and a medium-large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour in oats, honey, vanilla, nut butter, protein, and all your toppings.
  3. Mix together in a mixing bowl.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Use a mellon-baller or a spoon to scoop about a tablespoon of the dough together. Roll it between your hands into a ball and place on parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate bites for about a half hour
  7. Store in an air-tight container for up to one week at room temperature or 2+ weeks in the fridge or freezer,
