Season both sides of salmon with salt and pepper and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 400.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayo, lemon juice and garlic. Brush 1/2 Tbsp over each fillet ’til the creamy mixture is all used up.
Then whisk together Parmesan, lemon zest, thyme and basil. Drizzle 1 Tbsp olive oil into the bowl and stir with a fork until evenly moistened. Spread Parmesan mixture evenly over tops of salmon fillets.
Bake in preheated oven until salmon fillets have cooked through, 12 – 15 minutes.
