Welcome back to Elevate Your Vibe!! If you would like to catch up on the series click here.
Today we continue from last week’s post and dive deep into the realm of fear. Ahh, Fear, the dreadful feeling that we’ve all been privy to experience here as humans. On the vibrating scale of emotions, fear ranks down there at 100, on Dr. Hawkins’ scale of 0-1000. That’s somewhere that we don’t want to dwell for long!
But how do we get out of it?
Let’s discuss that first. One of my personal favorite tools for combating fears is positive affirmations. Louise Hay, world-renowned author of “Heal Your Body” is the queen of affirmations and has taught me so much. One of the affirmations that helps me through my personal fears is: “I am stronger than my fears.” I repeat this phrase several times when I’m feeling that initial fear starts to creep in. Another fear-busting affirmation is simply, ” I am safe”. This phrase is simple, but as we’ve discussed already- thoughts precede feelings, so stay on top of that!
Combating Our Fears
If fear is something you are constantly combating, here are two simple tips to combating your fears and elevating your vibe.
Tip #1
Read “The Magic of Thinking Big”, By David J. Schwartz
ACTION CURES FEAR, indecision, & postponement, on the other hand, fertilize fear… Jot that down in your success rulebook right now. Action cures fear.
Follow Nike’s beautifully coined phrase “Just do it” and fear is cured immediately.
Tip #2
When you have to perform or speak in front of others, instead of worrying and thinking, “I’m too scared, what if I look stupid?” Say to yourself, “How can I let God’s love flow through me right now?” Try that powerful tip on for size! 🙂 Turning your purpose of performing and focusing on your own faults, remove yourself from the picture and instead focus on the people you are trying to impact. You can’t go wrong when you have the high energy of love flowing through you, right?? Credit goes to Brian Johnson with Philosopher’s Notes for that brilliant inspiration.
In conclusion, getting scared is something we all experience. The power to conquer your fear lies within YOU! Say it now, “I’m stronger than my fears.” There you go, now go and do what God has called and prepared you to do.
Live with strength and confidence, because YOU ARE STRONG.
Carpe Diem!

So well written– in a short period you pack in such great information!! Keep up the great work and thank you
What a great topic to discuss! I think we are all afraid to express and share our fears. If we had more of this, we’d all realize how many fears we have in common!
